Many people may not have heard of the term, but soft tissue therapy is widely used across elite sports. Historically this level of service has been reserved for elite sports people, not because the general public wouldn’t benefit from this level of care, but because people haven’t been aware of it. Most would go and have a general massage or visit a physiotherapist or a chiropractor. These are three different professions who offer different types of treatment.

When we talk about soft tissue therapy being performed by a soft tissue experts we talk about a combination of treatments from a range of professions.

For example, an hour’s treatment with one of our Soft Tissue Specialists includes a full consultation and evaluation of your injuries, posture and many other factors. The Specialist will then combine several treatments, including massage to warm the affected area before the real work starts. Then they may employ a number of soft tissue techniques such as soft tissue release, neuromuscular therapy, muscle energy techniques, positional release or deep massage, depending on your issues. From there, they may employ osteopathic spinal manipulation to mobilise your joints / spine / hip etc or maybe carry out some dry needling or Kinesio Taping. All of this is within the capabilities of our soft tissue specialists; each treatment therefore includes so much more than just one approach to addressing your issues.

This probably the best massage treatment I've ever had. My therapist was Steve who is a highly skilled. He was brilliant and so nice and friendly as well. The pressure applied was perfect and i felt great and relaxed afterwards. I will most definitely be returning on a regular basis.

- Richard Pillinger, Streetly - December 2014

Steve is very professional and friendly. He really knows his stuff and I would highly recommend him. Also, its great that he comes with all the necessary equipment so you don’t need to worry about anything.
