Steve is the founder of LiveWell Health and is currently the driving force behind his highly qualified team of soft tissue and sports massage therapists. With over 7 years’ experience treating a whole range of musculoskeletal issues through advanced soft tissue techniques, Steve has built up an enviable reputation in the Midlands as one of the leading practitioners in his field. Steve has had what could be considered an unusual career path, initially working as a Marketing Consultant for a large FTSE 100 company and then running his own marketing company before working in the health and fitness industry.
This change in career came about because of his lifelong passion for fitness. Steve enjoyed training most days in the gym or running and as a result suffered from a number of injuries. After seeing several ‘so called’ specialists and physiotherapists with no clear or positive treatment plan he decided to retrain to understand the biomechanics of soft tissue strains that his body was going through and why general sports massage and physio treatments were not helping. In retraining he found a huge gap in the market for properly qualified professionals, realising that most sports massage therapists were actually just standard holistic massage therapists with no real understanding of injuries and how to effectively treat them. Steve started LiveWell Health to fill that gap and start a considered approach towards rehab and recovery of injuries no matter how big or small, with customers from the world of elite sport and the general public.

Katie is a qualified Sports Therapist offering Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation and provides sports massage in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Qualifications: Bsc (Hons) Sports Therapy
History: I have always been interested in Sport since a young age and always knew I wanted to peruse a career in this field. After leaving school I studied for three years at university and completed a sports therapy degree. One of the reasons why I was really interested in this role is because I love helping people. It is really important to me that I provide the best massage techniques to aid clients to return to daily life or sports with reduced pain. I really enjoy going to the gym in my spare time to keep fit and healthy. I also love walking in the park with family and friends regularly.
Callum is a qualified Sports Therapist offering Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation and provides sports massage in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Qualifications: Bsc (Hons) Sports Therapy
History: My interest began in sports therapy when I saw it as a chance to stay involved with sport and to help people that have suffered from injuries on their road to recovery. My first experience began when I completed a sports massage module at college, and this allowed me to gain an understanding of one of the key skills required to be a successful sports therapist. Since then I began to look at completing a sports therapy degree and whilst at Staffordshire University, I was able to gain experience in the university Sports Therapy Clinic and at an external placement at Nantwich Town. In my spare time I regularly play football and go to the gym to keep myself fit and active

Rechelle is one of our Sports Massage therapists based in Birmingham.
Qualifications: Level 4 Sports Massage
Rechelle is currently studying a Sports Therapy degree at the University of Gloucestershire and has provided massages in the university clinic and for a team. She has always been interested in sports, primarily emerging from being captain of both the netball and rounders teams at school. Being a part of these teams is what interested her to study sports therapy as she noticed that when a player suffered from an injury it took them quite a long time to return to play and even longer to return to their full fitness. Once she completes her degree she wants to be able to help injured athletes return to their full fitness quicker so they can get back to playing sports and resume their everyday life.
